Intended visual identity for Vestnorsk Jazzsenters annual jazz competition, Jazz i sikte. The competition aims to be a gathering for young and talented jazz players from all over Vestland and is an arena where everyone has the opportunity to showcase their talent.
The design is based on the complexity of jazz as a music genre. With the use of intricate geometric shapes, each shape tells its own story in addition to helping to give the identity a sense of modernity, and giving the identity a playful and legitimate feel.
